Post every weekend comes a day which is dreaded by most of us - ‘#Monday’.
Not everyone is happy about it; from school going children to working parents.
Tasks left unfinished from previous week, upcoming deadlines and anticipation of a full week ahead of us contributes to this stress.
Additionally, the sudden shift in mindset from leisure to work mode is one biggest contributor to these feelings.
Let’s see if we can jot down signs which may tell us if we have MMS:
▶️ Difficulty sleeping or feeling restless on #sunday nights.
▶️ Feeling anxious or irritable as the weekend comes to an end.
▶️ Physical symptoms such as headaches/stomachache / muscle tension.
▶️ Procrastinating or feeling overwhelmed by the thought of returning to #work.
▶️ Lack of #motivation or energy to start the week.
▶️ Racing thoughts about upcoming #tasks or #deadlines.
▶️ Difficulty concentrating or focusing on tasks at hand.
▶️ Feeling a sense of dread or negativity towards Mondays specifically.
While it's a common phenomenon, managing Monday morning stress may involve implementing strategies such as effective #timemanagement, prioritization and self-care practices to ease the #transition and promote a more positive start to the week.
Wishing you all a great week ahead!!!
